A daily parking fee of $12 per vehicle is required at Sandy Beach for visitors who do not have a parking permit. To provide an exemption from the daily parking fee, the City of Lake Mills offers household vehicle parking permits to eligible residents.
- City of Lake Mills residents may receive two free household vehicle parking permits by providing current vehicle registration(s) and may apply below or in person at City Hall.
- City residents needing additional permits may purchase a permit for $75 per vehicle by providing current vehicle registration(s) and payment at City Hall.
- Non-city residents who reside within the Lake Mills Area School District may purchase a permit for $75 per vehicle by providing current vehicle registration(s), proof of LMASD residency (such as a tax bill, lease, or other approved document), and payment at City Hall. Individual beach passes are no longer needed. Currently there are no parking exemption options for anyone outside the Lake Mills Area School District and City of Lake Mills.
